CricketSheet Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 3, 2026

CricketSheet stores your tournament data in your own Google Sheets. We do not run a backend database for your tournament data.

Data You Provide

CricketSheet can store tournament names, teams, player names, fixtures, ball-by-ball scoring, scorecards, points tables, player statistics, and sharing details you enter in the app.

Google Account And Google Sheets

CricketSheet uses Google Sign-In so you can create and manage score sheets in your Google Drive. The app requests limited Google Drive file access so it can create, read, update, share, and find CricketSheet spreadsheets that you create with the app or explicitly share/open with the app.

Your cricket data is stored in Google Sheets under your Google account or in sheets shared with you. We do not sell your data.

Data Protection

CricketSheet protects Google user data by requesting only the permissions needed for app features, using secure Google OAuth authentication, and sending Google API requests over encrypted HTTPS connections. OAuth tokens are handled by Google Sign-In and are not sold, shared with advertisers, or used for unrelated purposes.

CricketSheet does not copy your tournament spreadsheet data to a custom backend database. Local offline copies are stored on your device for scoring continuity and sync. You can remove local app data from Settings, and you can remove Google Sheets data from your own Google Drive at any time.

Access to shared live scores or tournaments is controlled through Google Drive sharing permissions. Only accounts you choose to share with can access private shared spreadsheets.

Local Storage

CricketSheet stores local copies of tournaments, matches, balls, teams, players, settings, and sync queue data on your device so scoring can work offline and sync later.

Ads

CricketSheet is free and may show small banner ads. Ads may be provided by Google AdMob, which may process data according to Google's advertising policies.

Crash Reports

CricketSheet may use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash diagnostics such as device model, operating system, app version, and crash traces. This helps improve app reliability.

Sharing

If you share a tournament or live score, CricketSheet may use Google Drive permissions to give the selected Google accounts read-only or edit access to the relevant CricketSheet spreadsheet, depending on your choice.

Delete Data

You can delete local CricketSheet data from the app settings. You can delete Google Sheets data directly from your Google Drive.
